The Insect Defend Patch at the Green Living Show


Green Living Show is from April 12 - 14, 2013 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto

The Green Living Show is North America's largest green consumer event that attracts enthusiastic eco-friendly people from all over the country. The show saw record crowds at the show in 2012 and enjoyed over 20 new and returning attractions. These include live animal demonstrations, professional makeup consultations, Eco Chic fashion shows, local and sustainable foods, the latest hybrid and electric cars, and much more. The show also offers an incredible line up of guest speakers and environmental leaders presenting throughout the days on the main stage.

This show has more than 37,000 qualified and motivated green consumers, and over 435 exhibitors with thousands of Green Living Approved products, services, and innovations all under one roof! They also provide numerous live presentations by eco-icons and celebrities who engage all exhibitors and visitors.

The Green Living Show is a fantastic place to network with the greenest companies in the country and the most motivated conscientious consumers. It offers a wide variety of attractions for everyone, from The Local & Sustainable Wine Exhibit and The Local Beer Experience, to the Green Innovations & Inventions of Ontario.

People attending the Green Living Show can receive FREE admission by recycling electronic waste at the show. "Since 2010, Green Living and Samsung have diverted over 150,000lbs of e-waste from landfill. All electronics are responsibly recycled by GEEP - Samsung's official recycling partner and a provincially accredited electronic waste processor." For those who do not have any electronics to recycle, the ticket prices are listed below:

  • Seniors (65+)                                                      $12.00
  • Students (with valid photo ID)                           $12.00
  • Children 12 and under          *Free; accompanied by an adult
  • Group rate (15+ persons)                                    $11.00/person
  • School Group Rate (10+ students/teachers)      $7.00/person

The show is only on for 3 days, with daily hours as follows:

  • Friday, April 12            10am - 9pm
  • Saturday, April 13        10am - 9pm
  • Sunday, April 14          10am - 6pm
